This work is about the inner structure of folding and unfolding space.
Parachutes, plants, wings and eyelids share this process with waves of light and the perception of colour.
The woodcut prints are of NASA images from returning Apollo moon missions. They are made with cut pine and ink on paper and/or used dryer sheets. The soft paintings are ink, acrylic and metallic leaf on folded canvas. The small solid paintings are acrylic and oil on terra cotta that was folded in canvas then dried in the sun.
